I’m trying to teach my oldest child how to use the washing machine and dryer. Any tips?
Separate colors from whites. That’s the first thing I think of when it comes to tips. Also, use cold water in the washer whenever humanly possible. I think getting down what size load to set the washer at is a little harder to learn as a child, but definitely not insurmountable. Dryers? Don’t overstuff it, or your load will be in there until SpongeBob Squarepants is a grandfather. 😉 Ok, so don’t overstuff the washer, either; if the machines break, Mom and Dad may not be able to afford new ones, and selling lemonade on the sidewalk may take a long time to bring in adequate washer/dryer funds.
